Description

22 and 24 Cold Bath Road is an early 19th-century semi-detached pair of houses. They rise three storeys with a semi-basement and each features two windows. The houses have a slated roof supported by paired brackets at the eaves. The exterior is made of grit stone ashlar, and the windows are recessed sash types. Notable features include impressive wooden doorcases with attached quasi-Doric columns that support an entablature adorned with triglyphs in the frieze. The doorways are recessed and have fanlights above panelled doors, which are accessed by steps that are flanked by cast iron railings. Nos 22 to 28 (even) form a cohesive group.
