Description

This is a hydrant built in 1899 by J Blakeborough and Sons of Brighouse. It is made of cast iron and features a fluted cylinder resting on an octagonal base, standing approximately 1.15 metres high. The hydrant has a partly damaged fluted domed cap, which is topped with a finial. There is also a hydrant located in High Street that is referenced.
