Description
The Court House is a house that likely dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in 1884, as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble and features a pantile roof with a brick stack. The building is two stories high and has a three-window front. The entrance is located at the rear within an added porch.
All windows are small-pane casements, with two lights in the center of the ground floor and a single light at each end. On the first floor, there is a single casement to the right and two-light casements to the left. Each window has painted roughly-tooled lintels. The datestone, which reads "COURT HOUSE 1884," is situated between the two-light windows on the first floor. The building has a coped gable and a kneeler on the right side, with an end stack on the right.
Inside, the ground-floor room on the right contains a complete Wrelton range.
