Description

The cross in the churchyard of Saint Leonard's Chapel is likely from the 15th century and stands on a later base. It is made of magnesian limestone ashlar and features a stepped, square base. The plinth is on this later base and has figures, which are now headless, at the corners. The shaft of the cross is tapering and octagonal, topped with a moulded cornice and the remaining arm of an ornamental cross head that is decorated with foliate motifs.
