Description

A terrace of five houses, numbers 12 to 20, was built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of coursed rubble limestone with pantile roofs and brick stacks. They are single-fronted cottages, with a depth of one-and-a-half rooms. The terrace has a three-storey, five-window front. Each house has a plain wooden door set beneath a heavy lintel, to the right of a two-light horizontal sliding sash window with glazing bars; the arrangement is reversed at number 12. The ground and first-floor windows have heavy milled lintels, while the top-floor windows have timber lintels. There are two end stacks and three ridge stacks.
