Description

The Cottage is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of pale brown local brick with red dressings and features a swept pantile roof with rendered raised verges and end chimneys. The building has two storeys and three bays. The windows are 19th-century sash windows set in flush wood architraves, except for a blind panel located above the entrance. The central entrance has a six-panel door framed by an architrave. Flat red brick arches adorn the openings, and there is a floor band along with stepped and dentilled eaves.
