Description
Wandell House is an early to mid-19th century house located on the north side of Main Street in Stillington. The house is constructed of pale brown local brick with red brick dressings, and has a pantile roof with stone coping and kneelers, along with end stacks. It is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays. The ground floor features a painted plinth and three recessed segmental arches. Within these arches is a central six-panel door with an oblong fanlight, and matching twelve-pane sash windows within flush wood architraves. Above the door sit six-pane sash windows. All openings are topped with gauged brick flat arches. The eaves are stepped and cogged. An extension of one bay has been added to the right-hand side, built in matching materials and featuring matching windows, and dentilled eaves.
