Description
Wren House is a house that likely dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of pale brown local brick with red dressings and has a concrete tile roof featuring raised verges and end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. It has a plinth and a four-panel central door set within a 20th-century wooden surround that includes a flat hood. The former entrance is located to the left. The windows are 20th-century casements in their original openings, except for the left ground floor window, which is a 20th-century casement in an enlarged opening. There is a three-course band at the first floor level, and the eaves are stepped and dentilled. The gable features tumbled-in brickwork.
