Description

The Folly is a house built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of pale brown brick and features a Welsh slate roof with stone gable coping, kneelers, and end chimneys. The building has two storeys and is three bays wide, with lower extensions on each side that are not of special interest. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door topped by an oblong fanlight, all set within a wooden open pedimented doorcase. The windows are 16-pane sashes, which are replacements, and are framed by flush wood architraves, with gauged flat brick arches and painted cills.
