Description

Two houses, Orchard House and Prospect House, were built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of pale red-brown local brick, with a moulded wood eaves cornice. The roofs are covered with pantiles, topped with coping stones, kneelers, and end chimneys. Two small dormers are present. The houses are two storeys and have five uneven bays, with the central bay projecting forward. They feature 19th-century sash windows, each with painted flat brick heads and cills.

Orchard House comprises two bays and has an entrance on the right. The entrance door is a six-panel door with a patterned radial fanlight, flanked by reeded pilasters with consoles that support an entablature, with decorative heads and paterae in the frieze. Prospect House, which is three bays wide, has a six-panel entrance door with a patterned radial fanlight, flanked by attached columns. Consoles support a modillion pediment, and the frieze is decorated with discs. A carriage entrance is located on the right.
