Description

Normandene and Driffield House are two houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from pale red-brown local brick in Flemish bond, featuring a stucco band at the first floor and wood coved eaves. The roof is made of pantiles and has end chimneys. Each house is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with the second bay from the left projecting forward. The entrances are located to the right and consist of 4-panel doors topped with oblong fanlights in wooden pedimented cases. There are late 19th-century canted bay windows with sash windows, and above these are 19th-century sash windows with painted lintels and cills.
