Description

The Old Vicarage is a late 18th-century house with early 19th-century side wings, originally built as a vicarage. It is constructed of pale reddish-brown local brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a three-course stepped band defining the first floor and a further band to the central section. The roof is tiled with pantiles, and has end chimneys. The house is two storeys high and consists of a central three-bay section with single-bay wings on either side. The central entrance now features 20th-century French doors. The windows are 12-pane sashes in the central section, and 16-pane sashes in the side wings. All windows are set within painted brick arches which have keyblocks.
