Description

This three-storey building, located on the south side of Market Place in Easingwold, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It features pale pinkish-brown local brick and a Welsh slate roof with stone coping and kneelers, along with end stacks. The building has four bays and the ground floor has undergone some rebuilding, resulting in 20th-century shop fronts. There is a six-panel door set within a wooden architrave, and the upper floors are adorned with 16-pane sash windows that have channelled stucco lintels.
