Description
Corner Cottage with an attached outbuilding to the left is a house and outbuilding dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone with pantile roofs. The two-storey, two-bay house features a central four-panel door in a wooden frame set under a flat arch. The windows on either side and on the first floor are side-sliding sashes with glazing bars. The end stacks have been rebuilt in brick. The attached outbuilding, which is single-storey and also two-bay, has seen some brick rebuilding in the left bay. It includes a boarded door and a small window in the right bay, as well as a square boarded window to the left. The left return of the outbuilding displays banded stone and cobble with a central square boarded window. This outbuilding was likely used as a cart-shed and stable, although the original cart-shed opening has since been bricked up.
