Description
46 Market Place is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high, constructed from coursed stone with a pantile roof. The roof features stone coped gable ends with kneelers and a brick stack. The facade has three windows with wood lintels and no glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is one window consisting of two lights, also with a thin wood lintel, alongside a canted shop front that includes glazing bars and a shop door.
This property is part of a group that includes Nos 15 and 16, 16A, 17 to 23 (consecutive), 33 to 38 (consecutive), and St George's House, forming a cohesive architectural ensemble with Nos 40 to 48 (consecutive).
