Description

This is a pair of houses located on Quay Street, dating from the mid to late 18th century. They are two storeys high with a basement. The houses are constructed of red brick and have an eaves cornice extending to the gable end, topped with a pantile roof. There are three windows on each facade, with intact glazing bars in the sash windows. The front doors, situated in the outer corners, are made of six fielded panels with a blind rectangular panel above each. The area has wooden rails. Numbers 35 to 43 (the odd numbers) combine to form a group.
