Description

No. 35 Quay Street is an 18th-century building that has been considerably altered. It stands two storeys high with an attic and is faced with stucco over brick. The building is located on a corner site with Porritts Lane, featuring a gable end to Quay Street that has one bay. The west side, which faces Porritts Lane, has a corbelled string at the first-floor level. The front has two windows with modern casements and an early 19th-century two-panel door topped with a cornice hood supported by scroll brackets. This building is listed for its group value, as it forms part of a group with Nos. 35 to 43 (odd).
