Description

The Mount is a house built in the early 19th century. It features red brick in Flemish bond and has a 20th-century machine tile roof. The building is three storeys high and has three bays. At the base, there is a stone plinth. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, framed by a Doric surround that includes pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. On the far right, there is a board door with a round-arched head. All the windows are 20th-century casements set in their original openings, complete with stone sills and stuccoed flat arches. A band of ashlar stone runs along the first floor, and there are stacks at both ends of the building.
