Description

The Old School, now a meeting room, was built in 1812. It is constructed from ashlar with a graduated stone slate roof and has one storey with two bays. The central board door is set within a chamfered four-centred arch surround, featuring the inscription 'Erected by subscription 1812', and is topped by a gabled stone slate porch roof. On either side of the door, there are three-light chamfered mullioned windows with hoodmoulds. The building has shaped kneelers, stone coping, and a brick end stack on the left side. The right side has a similar three-light window with a blocked lancet above it.
