Description

Duart and the house to the right are two houses built in the early 19th century. They are made of red brick in Flemish bond and have a pantile roof. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of three bays in total, with 'Duart' occupying the left side with two bays. On either side of the central bay, there are three steps leading up to four-panel doors that are framed by elaborate surrounds featuring pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. All the windows are 16-pane sash windows with stone sills and flat brick arches. The roof has shaped kneelers, stone coping, and chimney stacks at both ends, as well as one along the ridge.
