Description

The Dalesman Cafe is a house and cafe dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof, featuring ashlar quoins and a moulded eaves cornice. The building stands two storeys tall. The gable facing West Street has two bays of windows, with the upper windows having plain stone surrounds and sashes with glazing bars. The High Street front has irregular fenestration that is similar in style. There is a modern shop front located in the right-hand bay, and the building is topped with three chimneys.
