Description

GRIMSTON GRIMSTON PARK ESTATE SE 44 SE 3/32 Summer house approximately 10 metres to west of house GV II Summer house. c1840 with late C20 alterations. Attributed to Decimus Burton. Sandstone ashlar with marble dressings. Single storey, 5 bays. Central tetrastyle Corinthian portico with frieze decorated with inset marble plaques of a medallion head and nymph. Entrance a glazed double door. Engaged pilasters to angles. Multi-paned C20 windows throughout. Frieze. Cornice. Low parapet to centre. Included for group value.
