Description
19 and 21 Millgate are two-storey buildings dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of coursed rubble and have recently been repainted. The roofs are covered with modern asbestos pantiles, and there are two modern white brick chimneys. The buildings feature three hung sash windows with glazing bars and segmental arches, with two of the windows located on the ground floor. There are also two modern doors, which are set beneath segmental arches. The right side of the buildings is bowed out and rendered. These properties are included as part of a group, which also encompasses Nos 1 to 21 (odd) and Nos 1 to 9 (odd) along with No 56 Market Place.
