Description

17 Millgate is an 18th-century building situated within a group of properties. The exterior is rough rendered with a Welsh slate roof and one brick chimney. It is two storeys high. Architectural features include a small two-light wood mullion window to the left and a hung sash window to the right, the latter without glazing bars. On the ground floor are a small window and a 19th-century two-light window. A modern door, consisting of five panels with one being glazed, is set under a stone lintel. The building is included as part of a group, alongside numbers 1 to 21 (odd), and also with numbers 1 to 9 (odd) and 56 Market Place.
