Description
Manor House is a house dating from the early 18th century, which was raised and extended in the 19th century. It is built of squared limestone with a pantile roof and features brick stacks, one of which has been rebuilt. The house has a three-cell, hearth-passage plan, with a rear service extension. It is two stories high and has a three-window front. The entrance is a 20th-century board door located to the centre left. Flanking the door are three-light, small-pane casements in their original openings, with three lights to the right and two lights to the left. There is also a three-light horizontal-sliding sash window at the end right. The first floor has four-pane sashes with stone sills, and the ground-floor openings have thin timber lintels. The stacks are located at the ends and left of centre. Inside, there is an inglenook fireplace with a spice cupboard and a panelled door that survives in the centre room.
