Description
The building at 22 and 23 Silver Street dates to the 18th century. It is a two-storey building with an attic and basement, constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. The roof features two gabled dormers, and tall brick chimneys are located at the gable ends. A modillion eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. There are six windows, with the central windows being narrower and positioned closer together; the windows lack glazing bars. A 19th-century shop front is present on the left side, along with a panelled stall riser. A central, pedimented double doorway is flanked by plain pilasters, leading to a flight of eight steps with an iron handrail.
