Description

Nos 12 and 13 Silver Street is a late 18th-century building of two storeys and a basement, constructed in red brick. It has five windows, with the central one blocked. The windows have flush frames and flat stone arches, and originally contained no glazing bars. The ground floor has four windows and a central pair of doors, topped by an open pediment. The roof is slate-covered, and the building features two attic dormers, one dating from the late 19th century, and one that is flat topped. A wooden rail staircase leads to the front entrance, with eight steps. A large window and door are present in the basement of No 12, while No 13 has two basement windows.
