Description

This is an early 19th-century house and butcher’s shop, known as Homeleigh and Greenwood Butchers Premises. The building is constructed of local brown brick with a wooden eaves cornice and a Welsh slate roof. The upper floor has three 20th-century windows. The butcher's shop section features a later 19th-century wooden doorcase with modillion detailing and a square bay shop front. Homeleigh itself has a wooden doorcase with reeded pilasters, an open pediment, and paterae within the friezes, topped by a fanlight. A bow window to the right features sash windows with glazing bars.
