Rand Grange

Rand Grange is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on the south side of the A684. It is constructed of red brick and features a machine tile roof. The building has three storeys and two bays, with a lower wing at the rear. The entrance is off-centre, consisting of a six-panel door with a four-pane overlight above. To the left of the door is a 20th-century stepped tripartite window with glazing bars. The ground and first floors have 12-pane side-sliding sash windows, while the second floor has 8-pane side-sliding sash windows. All windows are fitted with stone sills; the ground floor windows have flat brick arches, while those on the upper floors have cambered brick arches. The farmhouse is topped with stone coping and features end stacks.
