Description
A group of three table tombs located approximately 7 metres south of the Church of St John of Beverley, dating from the mid-18th century. They are made of stone and feature moulded covers raised on panelled ends supported by half-baluster brackets. The northern tomb has an inscription commemorating the death of Elizabeth, wife of Robert Taylor, who died in 1773. The middle tomb has a copper plaque and inscription in memory of a member of the Taylor family who died in 1767, as well as Jane, daughter of John and Mary Taylor, who died in 1790. The southern tomb includes an inscription and copper plaque dedicated to Alice Harrison, who died in 1766.
