Description

Red House Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It features red and cream brick in Flemish bond on a sandstone plinth, with red brick returns. The building has a timber doorcase and a slate roof, following a central-entry plan. It is two stories high and has a three-window front. The entrance includes a four-panel door with a divided overlight, set in a pilastered doorcase topped with a cornice hood. Above the door is a 12-pane sash window, while the other windows are 16-pane sashes. All windows are fitted with painted stone sills and wedge lintels. The farmhouse has end stacks located at the base of its hipped roof.
