Description

Salton Bridge is an early 19th-century bridge constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond, featuring sandstone cutwaters and hammered sandstone abutments, along with tooled sandstone coping. The bridge has two spans and includes two flood arches. It has round arches positioned between canted abutments, with two segmental flood arches over the left bank abutment. At each end, there is a plain parapet with cambered coping and square terminal piers. The bridge was noted to be in need of repair at the time of the resurvey.
