Description

The Hawthorns is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. The corners are accentuated with chamfered rusticated ashlar quoins. A central six-panel door is set beneath an overlight and is framed by an ashlar surround. The ground floor has sash windows with glazing bars, each containing 18 panes, also set within ashlar surrounds. The roof is hipped, and there are white brick stacks at the ends.
