Description

Brookside is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone and has a 20th-century pantile roof. The building stands two storeys high with a loft and features two bays. It has quoins and sash windows with glazing bars, consisting of 16 panes on the ground floor, topped with large voussoirs forming flat arches above. The roof is adorned with shaped kneelers and ashlar coping. There are end stacks, with the right stack being a double stack shared with the adjoining house. A rear entry is present, and on the left side, there is a stone that may have once been part of a bridge parapet.
