Description

Terrington Hall is a house that has been converted into a school. It was built in 1827, with an addition made to the rear in the 1880s. The building is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a Westmorland slate roof. It has a central hallway entry and is two storeys high with five bays. There are steps leading up to a Tuscan porch supported by paired columns. The entrance has half-glazed double doors beneath a tall divided overlight, which is flanked by pairs of tall, unequal 15-pane sash windows. On the first floor, there are sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is hipped and has ridge stacks.
