Description

This is a combination farm building, now used as a garage and outbuilding, located approximately 5 metres west of White Oak Farmhouse. It dates from the early to mid 18th century and is constructed of coursed squared gritstone with a graduated stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, possibly originally serving as a pigsty with a hen-house above.

The south side features a 20th-century garage door on the right and a small opening in a plain surround to the left on the first floor. There are bulbous kneelers and gable copings, along with a central banded stack. On the left return, there are board doors in quoined surrounds on both the left and right, and a central board door to the first floor, with pigeon openings above. An attached garage to the left is noted but is not of special interest. This building is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
