Description

No. 43 Bridge Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a pantile roof with brick stacks. The building has an end-entry hearth-passage plan and stands two storeys high, with three windows on the first floor. To the right, there is a 20th-century half-glazed door, and to the left, two 6-pane sash windows. The first floor also has 6-pane sashes, all with stone sills and wooden lintels that have been rendered with concrete. The roof is steeply pitched and has end stacks.
