Description

No. 45 on Bridge Street is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed sandstone and limestone rubble, topped with a Westmorland slate roof and features brick stacks. The house has a central entrance with a cross wing at the rear. It is two storeys tall and has two windows on the first floor. The entrance consists of a four-panel door that is flanked by six-pane sash windows. On the first floor, there are tripartite sash windows set in decorative frames, with stone sills and lintels throughout the building. The roof is steeply pitched and has stacks at both ends.
