Description
Netherby Hall is a house that dates from the late 18th century but has earlier origins. It has undergone some alterations in the 19th century and features a 20th-century extension. The front is made of squared sandstone, while the sides and rear are constructed from rubble sandstone. The roof is covered with pantiles and has brick stacks.
The building is two storeys high and has a three-window front, with a two-storey, single-window extension to the right. There is a modern glazed door located in the centre right, and an enlarged fire window on the centre left that includes a fixed 9-pane light. The remaining windows are 12-pane sashes, all with stone sills. The ground-floor openings feature flat arches, and the building has coped gables and shaped kneelers. There are stacks at the ends and on the centre left. The extension to the right is not of special interest.
