Description

Aire View Farmhouse and the attached barn date from the late 17th century or early 18th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features a stone slate roof. It has two storeys. The entrance facade includes 19th-century openings. At the rear, there is a ground floor chamfered stone mullion window with three lights, which was formerly four lights, and a sash window with glazing bars inserted. There is another three-light window on the ground floor. On the first floor, there is an altered five-light chamfered stone mullion window. The farmhouse has two chimneys. The barn features a segmental-headed cart entry on the south side.
