Description

King's Farmhouse is a house likely dating from the early 18th century, possibly incorporating some earlier features. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof and a stone ridge. The two-storey facade has two bays, displaying two-light square mullion windows set slightly back, and a doorway framed with matching stone mullions. A four-light mullion and transom window, altered from two lights, is located at the rear. The right-hand gable wall features a three-light double-chamfered stone mullion window. Two chimneys are present, one decorated with blind arcading. Inside, a large segmental arched fireplace with cyma moulding and heavy exposed beams are noteworthy.
