Description

A farmhouse, likely dating from the later 17th century, with an attached barn. The farmhouse is built of squared rubble with a stone slate roof and has two chimneys. It is two storeys high. The front elevation has been altered but retains one double chamfered stone mullion window, from which the mullion has been removed. The rear elevation features double chamfered stone mullioned windows, some of which are missing mullions. The ground floor windows originally had four lights each, with hoodmoulds, while the upper floor windows had two, three, and three lights respectively. Inside the main room, there are two beams supported by another beam which may have acted as a bressumer. The barn is a later addition and features a chamfered doorway and hewn trusses with angle struts. Originally, there was a doorway in the shared wall connecting the farmhouse to the barn.
