POTTO BLACK HORSE LANE (east side, off) Outbuildings to North of Potto Grange, and wall attached

GV II

Stabled and granary and coach house with garden wall. Early C19. Part coursed stone, part red brick; pantiled roof with stone copings and kneelers. (Linked to north end of house is a 2-storey stable-granary running east). Behind this a 2-storey stable runs north, with a 1-storey north end and short north-east return. East of the stable-granary is a 2-storey coach house (now a garage) with a 12-storey rear range. The granary and garage buildings flank entry to stable court. Granary 2 wide bays. Round-arched blocked window to left with pitching eye above. Other openings part boarded, part glazed. External stone stair on east return. Garage has large elliptical-arched carriage entrance with alternating tooled voussoirs. Small door and window to right; eye above. Door in chamfered stone surrounds in rear ranges. North range backs on to tall stone-coped wall, ramped down at centre and end. Remaining wall runs west from north-west corner. Northernmost 1-storey ranges and haybarn to east are not of interest.
