Description
Ober Green Cottage and Ober Green Farmhouse are a house and cottage dating to around 1800, with later alterations. The walls are pebbledash applied to a brick base. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, featuring stone copings and kneelers, and has brick stacks. The building is two storeys high, with three bays on one side and one bay on the other. The main entrance has a six-panel door, set in a plain reveal, flanked by small, hipped canted bays with lead roofs. Sash windows with glazing bars are present, with those on the first floor set in wooden architraves. The cottage incorporates 20th-century doors and windows. Chimneys are located at the ends of the building and at the junction between the two sections.
