Description
These are a pair of mid-19th century buildings located on the south side of Water Skellgate in Ripon. They are constructed of pink brick with slate roofs and extend two storeys in height. The buildings are three bays wide, featuring sash windows set in flush frames. Number 6 has a door with six fielded panels and an overlight fanlight, set within a doorcase featuring fluted pilasters. There is also a door to a passageway with six flush panels and an oblong fanlight with glazing bars, also contained within a doorcase with a fluted pilaster; these are linked by a moulded cornice. Number 6A has a door with six fielded panels and an oblong fanlight.
