Description

No. 5 Water Skellgate is an early 19th-century building constructed of pink brick with a slate roof. It stands three storeys high and features two bays. The windows are sashes set in moulded flush-frames, adorned with chanelled stucco voussoirs. The entrance door has six fielded panels and a semi-circular fanlight, situated in panelled reveals, and is framed by a wooden doorcase with fluted half-columns. There is a segment-headed carriage arch on the right-hand side of the building.
