Description

This is an 18th century or earlier building, likely timber-framed. It has a whitewashed brick front and a pantiled roof with a catslide to the rear. The building is two storeys high, featuring a brick band. It has two Yorkshire casement windows with glazing bars on the first floor and one on the ground floor. There are two shopfronts, one to the north dating to the late 19th century. This shopfront has moulded plaster ornament to the capitals, and two unusual plaster bar reliefs set into the lower panels of the door. These reliefs depict classical scenes in a fin-de-siècle style.
