Description
Numbers 6, 7, and 8 on High Skellgate in Ripon are early 19th-century buildings made of brown brick with a pantiled roof. They are two storeys high and feature three bays with sash windows that have glazing bars. The buildings have a contemporary shopfront that includes Tuscan pilasters supporting a moulded cornice, along with two doors that have six fielded panels and oblong fanlights above each. Numbers 7 and 8 boast a more elaborate mid-19th-century shopfront, which includes moulded glazing bars and scrolled consoles beneath a moulded cornice. Number 8 is three storeys tall and has two bays, with canted oriel windows on the first floor.
