Description

Azerley Grange is a farmhouse dated 1801, constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar detailing and a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring quoins at the corners. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door set within a plain stone surround. Above the door, there is a bracketed solid stone hood with a pediment, which bears the inscription "CMP 1801". All windows are fitted with 4-pane sashes in plain stone surrounds, although the window above the door is blind. The structure includes shaped kneelers, stone coping, and end stacks.
