Description

South View is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is built of coursed squared stone and ashlar, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring a symmetrical elevation. Notable architectural details include chamfered quoins and a central 20th-century door set within a Gibbs stone surround, which is topped by a moulded open pediment. The windows are also 20th-century casements, framed by moulded stone architraves that include sills and double keystones. Additional features include an eaves band, stone coping, and end stacks.
